University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Is one of the institution imparting pharmaceutical education and research in the country. Pharmaceutical education both at the undergraduate and graduate level is responsible to the profession and society for generating knowledge about pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical products, therapeutic actions and rational drug use through basic and applied research. Our highly qualified faculty and their experience in pharmaceutical education provide students with the values necessary to serve society as caring, ethical, learning professionals and enlightened citizens. We provides students with scientific fundamentals and foster attitudes necessary to adapt their careers to changes in health care needs over a lifetime. To furnish a better placement opportunities to our trained, hard working and disciplined students, placement cell, Panjab University pharmaceutical Society (PUPS) came in existence under the guidance of Professor V. R. Sinha. The cell provides platforms to the students for a satisfactory job placement. The placement cell invites or contacted by, various prestigious industries to recruit our students by conducting campus interviews.
